The Valpay Dashboard is your central hub for real-time business analytics. Whether you’re looking for a high-level overview or a deep dive into specific payment channels, this guide will help you navigate the reporting portal.
Getting Started: The Filter Bar
To keep your data secure and specific, the dashboard remains blank until you apply your desired filters. Use the filter bar at the top of the screen to populate your view.
Location: Select a single business location or "All Locations" for a consolidated view.
Currency & Date: Choose your date range to see specific performance windows.
Include Open Auths: Check this box if you want to include authorized transactions that haven't been captured/settled yet.
Export Data: Click the Export button to generate a downloadable .pdf of your current dashboard view—perfect for meetings or archives.
The Performance Ribbon
Directly below the filters, you will find a snapshot of your most critical KPIs based on your selected criteria:
Total Transactions: The count of all successful charges.
Gross Volume: The total dollar amount processed.
Processing Fees: The total costs associated with your transactions.
Net Payouts: Your actual deposit amount (Gross Volume minus fees/adjustments).
Data Widgets & Visualizations
1. Gross Volume Breakdown
This widget provides a granular look at your revenue by Channel. It categorizes your volume into:
POS: In-person transactions.
Card on File: Subscription or saved-card billing.
MOTO: Mail Order/Telephone Order entries.
2. Payment Methods
This table lists every payment type used within your filtered date range. It provides:
Quantity: How many times the method was used.
Gross Volume: The total dollar value for that specific method.
3. Sales Channel Distribution (Graph)
A visual representation of where your sales are coming from. This pie chart shows the percentage of business handled by each sales channel, helping you identify your most active revenue streams at a glance.
4. Payment Distribution (Graph)
This graph breaks down your volume by card brand. You can quickly see the percentage of your customer base using Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and more.
