Charger or power cord not working

1. Make sure there is no dust or debris in the connectors on the charger and the terminal.

2. Check if the charger/power cord works with other terminals of the same model. If not, replace cable

3. Check if a working charger/power cord works with the terminal. If not, replace terminal

Tamper

When the display of the payment terminal shows the word 'TAMPER' or 'TAMPERED', please replace the terminal.

Battery issues

1. Make sure the battery is charged for at least 30 minutes before you start using it

2. Remove the battery, make sure there is no debris between the battery connector and the terminal, insert battery and turn on again by holding the green button for 3 seconds

3. Try a different charger on the terminal and charge for 30 minutes before you start using it

4. Make sure the terminal is running up-to-date software. You can do this from the Admin Menu > Config > Update 5. If none of the above solves the issue, please replace the terminal

Terminal won't turn on or DOA

1. Charge terminal for at least 30 minutes

2. Try a different power cable or different outlet

3. If none of the above solves the issue, please replace the terminal

Terminal Rebooting

Terminal stuck in a rebooting loop

  1. If the terminal was just boarded, please wait 30 minutes to make sure the terminal has completed its configuration and software download

  2. Unplug or remove the battery from the terminal for 30 seconds. Reconnect

  3. During the reboot, try to get into the admin menu on the terminal by continuously pressing 9 and then enter a. If you can get into the admin menu, go to software > update

  4. If none of the above resolves the issue, you can either:

    • Contact Valpay Support with serial number of terminal and we will request to have a remote update pushed to the terminal to try to recover it

    • Replace the terminal immediately
